Time simply put, does not stop.

These little moments that flicker throughout the day, that when captured become these perfectly suspended moments.  Keeping us everlastingly held, giving us the comfort from the days that have gone by, that, no matter how badly we wish, we cannot return.  Babies grow at a speed that leaves us feeling empty beyond measure because in every simple blink of our eyes they seem to be growing older.  We maneuver from a first date to wedding bells, wrapped up in a love that fills us, compelling us to become the best version of ourselves.  Our parent who held us, uninterrupted while we cried over skinned knees and our first broken heart.  This is the simple beauty of our lives, that get so taken for granted.  But one day, one day while we sit in our armchair looking out our front window, we find undeniable comfort in these simple suspended moments. This is why photos are so important, because one day, it’s all we will have left.
