I am a mother, a wife and a creator of memories.

For as long as I can remember, I have always been drawn to the beauty of life, the artistic side of the day to day.  From the ever classic sunset and the shifting of the tides to that few minutes when that perfect song hits the radio as traffic flows freely, every green light as the soft not-so-hot summer breeze flows through the car.  Then I became a mother, and I found so much more beauty in the day to day chaos, everything became so perfect and fragile as time keeps moving forward.

But make no mistake, I among countless others struggle with the eternal question…..What to make for supper.  I struggle with letting go of control and love nothing more than cozy movie nights on the couch, cuddled up with my not-so little boy, husband and two dramatic dogs   I love my home to smell of lemons and spice, so I have quite the extensive candle collection.  Building lego makes my heart happy and I have an affliction for collecting old china.  I drink tea, not coffee.  I keep a tidy home, to the point that I drive my husband crazy as I am always pouring out his drinks to put his glasses in the dishwasher.  Tulips are my favourite flower and I watch action movies when I’m sad.  Wine, I love red wine.  Entertaining is a favourite pastime of mine, as there is nothing better than a house full of friends and family.  You can never go wrong with books and there is something so fascinating about the history of the monarchy. Quilting helps me relax and as a result, I spend way too much money on fabric.  Also, tattoos are cool.
